Lawrence Douglas "Larry" Pascoe

Lawrence Douglas Pascoe of Armada passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the age of 69 years.
Larry was born on December 21, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a son of James Ferris and Rose Helen (nee Gunning) Pascoe.
He graduated from St. Clair High School in 1973 and join the military (United States Air Force) immediately after high school. Larry served his country for 20 years, first as a medical technician and then later as a recruiter for the Air Force. He married his high school sweetheart, Jacqueline Trumble on April 6, 1974 and they started their family soon after. His service in the military required a lot of travel and he took his wife and two children around the world with him to Ohio, Philippines, Texas and back to Michigan. At the time of his passing, Larry and Jackie were just shy of their 50-year wedding anniversary.
His most joyful role was playing Santa at the Selfridge Exchange & Commissary. Calling himself Father Christmas because of the play on words of Merry Christmas in Tagalog "Maligayang Pasko".
Larry enjoyed fishing, taking care of his pond, scuba diving, star gazing, watching anything Sci-Fi and had a taste for old school cinema and game shows. If there was a competitive sport, board game or card game, you could count Larry in. Risk, Tennis, Pinnacol and Euchre were amongst his favorites to play.
Larry was full of life and was loved by so many. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Erika (John III) Urbanchock and Jason Pascoe; honorary son, Joshua (Kimberly Marie) Hishon; grandchildren, John IV (Jessica) Urbanchock, Joshua Urbanchock, Stephanie Urbanchock and Elijah (Samantha) Urbanchock; great-granddaughters, Dolores and Bernadette Urbanchock; brother, Howard (Nancy) Pascoe; sisters, Rose Sexton and Nancy Ann Pascoe; sisters-in-law, Vera Pascoe and Nancy Pascoe; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his brothers, James Pascoe and William Pascoe; father, James Pascoe; mother, Rose Moulnar and step-father, Lou Moulnar.
Visitation for Larry will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with 7:00 p.m. scripture service and Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, Armada. The funeral service will take place on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by military honors.
