Lee W. Burnham, age 70, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at 3:10 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Marion Health. He was born on March 16, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Woodrow Lee and Nellie (Brown) Burnham.
Lee was a lifelong self-employed worker, known for his strong work ethic and love for family. He found joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he was happiest when surrounded by loved ones. Lee had a passion for tinkering in the garage, going junking, camping, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching old Westerns and was truly a family-oriented man. Lee will be remembered for his generous spirit, love of family, and the simple joys he embraced throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Burnham; daughters, Angelia Burnham and Michelle (Michael) Weaver; his son, Jason (Heather) Hawkins; grandsons, Brandon Arven, Peyton Burnham, and Theseus Nicodemus; granddaughters, Aaliyah Haynes, Taylor Stahlman, Zoey Woenkhaus, Destiny Martin, Mya Carter, and Jordyn Manuel; his sister, Jeanie Correll; brothers, Richard "Dickie" Correll, David Burnham, and Gary Burnham; nieces, Sandy Correll and Nessie Shrout; and many other nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Nellie Burnham; his first wife, Dee Dee Burnham; sons, Brandon Lee Burnham and Jamie Carter; brothers, Nelson Correll, Roger Correll, Wayne Edward Burnham, Ray Burnham, and Clifford Burnham; sisters, Carol Correll, Shirley Correll, Edna Byrd, and Debbie Hale; niece, Margie Bridges; and great-niece, Tiffany Shrout.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Lee's life will begin at 12:00 noon.
