Merlene Sue Henrick, 59, of Marion, passed away at 11:53 am on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Marion Health. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, July 30, 1966, to Mervle and Pauline (Goodman) Burnett.
Merlene graduated from Marion High School in 1984. She had worked at Vogel's Donuts. Merlene enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved watching Little House on the Prairie and cooking shows.
Merlene is survived by her mother, Pauline Burnett; daughters, Amanda Lyons of Marion and Larissa (William) Rigas of Greenfield; son, Brandon Henrick of Marion; grandson, Noah; granddaughters, Miracle and Khloe; sisters, Brenda (Sammy) Duggins, Darlene (Duffy) Smith and Janie (Jimmy) Swisher; brother, Roger (Deanna Scott) Goodman; plus, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mervle L. Burnett; and brothers, Bobby Burnett and Raymond Burnett.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Monday, September 8, 2025 at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN, 46953.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Merlene's life will be held at 1:00 pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN 46953.
