LeeAnna Dee Etchieson, 53, of Checotah, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.

She was born November 19, 1971, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Claudie Gerald Etchieson and Patsy Ann (Price) Duke.

LeeAnna attended Checotah High School. She met Dusty Kendall Lane in 1989 and together they spent 32 years happily married. She worked most of her life as a cook and a waitress. Some of her places of employment consisted of June's Restaurant, Katy Café, Irene's Country Cooking, 69 Diner and Eufaula Manor. She enjoyed swimming, cookouts, camping, roller skating, bowling and watching her favorite shows on television.

Survivors include her spouse, Dusty Lane of the home; her children, Butch Lane and his partner, Dezirae Mann of Checotah and Lily Lane of Checotah; her grandchildren, Langston Lane, Landon Lane, Kaesten Rowan, Gracelynn Rowan, Kendall Patterson, Madelynn Patterson and Kamrynn Patterson; her parents, Claudie Etchieson of Durant and Patsy Ann Duke of Checotah; her sister, DeeAnna Fish and her husband, Sonny Fish of Checotah; nieces and nephews, Sarah Etcheison, Samantha Etchieson, Choate Fish and Katie Fish; great nieces, Aleigha Washington, Brianna Mahoney, Jacelynn Brown and Cambrie Etchieson and a host of other family and friends.

Her brother, Stephen Etchieson; grandmother, Bessie Price and uncle, Tom Price preceded LeeAnna in death.

Honoring LeeAnna cremation is planned. The family will conduct their own Celebration of Life for LeeAnna on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Checotah Church of Christ, 305 E. Gentry Ave., Checotah, Oklahoma 74426.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hunn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 211 W. Okmulgee, Checotah, Oklahoma 74426.
