Lehaua Jean Hough, 90, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

She was born July 5, 1934 in West Concord, North Carolina to the late Cletus Revon Lemmonds and the late Lois Margaret Lemmonds. 

She was also preceded in death by husband, Elvin Lee Hough and brother, Randall Revon Lemmonds.

Lehaua was a long standing member and officer of the Women of the Moose (Concord Moose Lodge). She loved spending time with her family and friends. Lehaua never met a stranger and always enjoyed having a good time. She was an avid animal lover, bingo player, and Nascar fan (#3 being her favorite). She spent much time feeding and caring for stray animals at her home and donating to various animal charities. She loved fiercely and this was felt by anyone she met. She was well known for her spunky personality and sense of humor. She will be well missed by all who loved her. 

A memorial service will be on Sunday October 20, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord, 460 Branchview Drive Concord, NC 28026. 

Survivors include daughter, Traci (Jody) Edwards of Concord, NC, son, Revon (Diane) Readling of PA, son, Randy (Sheri) Readling of Greensboro, NC, grandchildren, Kristofer Readling (Alycia), Jenna Benton (Trey), Brianna Motley (Justin), great-grandchildren, Lillian, Kyra and Nora.
