Leigh-Ann Walters, 35, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Born, February 3, 1989, in Cheraw, SC, she was the daughter of Gregory Blaine and Wendy Lee Melton Walters. Leigh-Ann was a vibrant soul whose enduring smile lit up every room she entered. Her passion for life was evident in her love for riding four-wheelers, cooking, dancing, singing, and creating videos. She had a special bond with her baby boy, Aiden, and her brother held a special place in her heart. Leigh-Ann’s love for her family, including beloved dog, was immeasurable. She was truly a daddy's girl, cherishing the close relationship they shared.
Leigh-Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hubert and Patricia Melton, Paul Walters, and Geraldine and TD Lewis; great-grandparents, Virginia Clark, Emma and Theodore Hinson, and Harris and Elizabeth Walters; aunts and uncles, Ray Melton, Marshall Walters, and Simon and Sherry Polson; and her dog, Nash.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Aiden Blaine Walters of the home; her parents, Greg and Wendy Walters of Cheraw, SC; a brother, Blaine Walters of Cheraw, SC; best-friends, Brandi Stroud and Bill Efird; aunts and uncle, Gail Walters, Amanda Walker, and Edward and Crystal Melton; cousins, Kayli Melton, Dylan Price, Journey Guinn, Cody Melton, Nick Melton, Aaron Roscoe, Tonya Teal, Deana Price, Kaylynn Quick, Jennifer “Bug” Chavis, Beth Walters, Cassie Gaskins, Philip Tipton, Anthony Chavis, Holdun Tipton, Kylar Tipton, Hunter Wilkes, Jamie Polson, and Autumn Walters; her special friend, Josh Williams; and her dog, Truly.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Walters family in their time of grief.
