Lena Mauser Obituary

She was a resident at Polk Personal Care Center, Millersburg for over 8 years.
Lena grew up on a farm between Mandata and Urban, the daughter of the [late] Harry and S. Agnes (Schlegel) Grimm.
She married Alvin C. Mauser on February 3, 1945, as a military wife, she traveled to several Air Force bases. They lived in Elizabethville for most of their 63 years of marriage. Alvin predeceased her in 2011.
Lena was a member of Salem UCC in Elizabethville where she was a member of the choir and helped with the Ladies Committee.
Lena enjoyed flowers, playing cards, quilting, helping others and day trips with her husband and family.
Lena was the last surviving member of the Lower Mahanoy Twp. High School class of 1942.
She was also predeceased by brothers, Mayne, Lawrence, Gabriel and a sister, Goldie Paul.
The family wished to thank the caregivers and staff at Polk Personal Care and Hospice of Central PA for the wonderful care they provided.
To honor Lena's wishes, a graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10 AM. All are welcome to join the family.
