Leonard Charles (LC) Bartlett, 94, of Warner Robins Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, surrounded by his family. Leonard was born in Cecil, Georgia, to Robert Lee & Toye Lewis Bartlett, on August 22, 1931. He went to high school at Lanier in Macon, Georgia, and from there he served in the army from 1950 to 1953 and was a proud veteran of the Korean War.

Leonard’s favorite hobby was golf, and he was well-known for hitting more than a few holes-in-one. A local club champion several times over, he carried a low handicap in his younger days. Perhaps his greatest “handicap,” though, was his inability to walk past the woods on a golf course without venturing in to hunt for stray golf balls. An avid and highly skilled golfer, Leonard loved every aspect of the game—from repairing clubs to building entire sets from scratch. He could often be found working on them late into the night. When Leonard wasn’t fine-tuning golf clubs, he enjoyed tinkering with watches and browsing the aisles at Goodwill and Smiley’s, always on the lookout for hidden treasures.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Crawford; and brother, Robert Bartlett.

He is survived by his children, Gerald Bartlett, Randy Bartlett (Susan) and Vicki Bartlett; sister, Gloria Davis (Don); and grandchildren, Robbie Bartlett (Brandi), Brandi Lefvendahl (Will), Len Bartlett, Stephanie Friese (Danny) and Valerie Askew. He was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterward, Leonard will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
