Leonard Benson Obituary
Leonard had worked as a laborer in the union doing highway construction for many years. Outside of work Leonard enjoyed working with metal, fishing and electronics. He also enjoyed boating.
Survivors include his son, Doug Benson and his wife Jennifer of Vincennes; sisters, Janet Wilber and her husband Jim of Vincennes, Cherie Kotter of Vincennes; brother, Don Lee and his wife Sherry of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews. Leonard is preceded in death by his father, Leonard C. Benson, mother, Marcelyn Benson-Lee, and his stepfather, Donald Lee.
Friends may visit with Leonard's family from 1:30 until 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes, IN. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery. Online memories may be shared with Leonard's family and friends at www.goodwinsievers.com. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Leonard and his family.
