Leonard was born in California to Georgia (Puroliniski) and William Brown on May 6, 1954. He grew up in Iowa and attended East High School. He enjoyed and played baseball and took Grandview to the Little League World Series. Leonard started driving trucks at an early age for Pepsi and continued on to be a concrete driver with A1 Peterson. He enjoyed boating, camping, and anything NASCAR.
Leonard is survived by his son, Tyler Brown; brother, John Brown; half sister, Karen Stedman; niece, Julie Brown; and nephews, Eric Brown and Daniel Stedman. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Georgia; and his loving dog, Cane.
Leonard was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. His kindness, steady guidance, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone around him. He took pride in his family and found joy in the simple moments- whether sharing stories, offering a helping hand,or cheering on his loved ones.
