Leonard Mullins

Our wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Leonard Stanley Mullins, 87, passed away on December 11, 2023 in Beaver, Utah. He was born on January 18, 1936 to his parents Walter Monroe Mullins and Dorothy Heuett Mullins in Murray, Utah.
Leonard graduated from Granite High School. He worked at Kennecott Copper and later retired from Utah Power & Light.
Leonard married Jeanette Tapp Mullins and were together from 1962-2009. He later married Sandra Gram Mullins and they've been together from 2009-present.
Dad enjoyed horse racing, hunting, archery, bowling, golfing, and anything outdoors. He was a horse trainer of several winners, won multiple archery awards, liked taking care of all the local deer in his neighborhood. But his biggest accomplishment were his children and grandchildren. He loved his nightly UTV rides with is sweetheart Sandra and their dog Cookie. He also enjoyed morning coffee with the local boys.
Leonard loved and appreciated all the love, help, and care from his step-children Cindy Timm Hanni, husband Brett; Cortney Timm, wife Gerie; Randy Timm, wife Laura; and Torrie Timm; and many step-grandchildren.
Leonard is survived by his wife Sandra Mullins; his children Jayson (Shannon) Mullins, Jeff Mullins, Julie Hughson, and Leslie (Cliff) Lamb; his brother Richard (Marianne) Mullins; his sister Evelyn Kerby; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Leonard loved and appreciated all the love, help, and care from his step-children. He is also survived by Cindy Timm Hanni, husband Brett; Cortney Timm, wife Gerie; Randy Timm, wife Laura; and many step-grandchildren.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Dorothy Mullins; his son Mike Mullins; step-daughter Torrie Timm Gines, his brother Walter Mullins; and his sisters Lorene Mullins Atwood, Roberta Mullins Thompson, Virginia Mullins Mcquillan, Joann Mullins Condie, and Maxine Mullins White.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Mountain View Cemetery (600 N 650 E, Beaver, UT). A viewing will be held beforehand from 12:00 – 1:30pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (195 N 200 W, Beaver, UT). Online condolences may be sent at www.mortuary.org.
