Before I started writing this, I saw the boxes below asking how I know Lenny. Although we were close friends, the term "friend" really doesn't describe how our relationship was. So, when you see that I've checked "family", that's how my family and I consider Lenny, even though we weren't blood relatives. Mary and I have know Lenny, Maureen, and the kids for over 40 years, and all the kids were just one big family when we were together. We watched our kids grow up to be great adults, and I know how proud Lenny and Maureen are of them, as are we. When I think about Lenny, which is often, I remember all the family trips we took the kids on, and just how much fun they were. Lenny's smile was infectious, and when you were around him you couldn't help but smile. I can still see him and Maureen doing their signature dances, him dancing with my mother and the look on their faces, him telling everyone how much he loved them after a few to many drinks and nodding off in between sentences, and all the great family party's at his home that we were part of, and so many other memories of when we were together. We treated each other like family because we loved each other like family. Mary and I can honestly say that we love Lenny, Maureen, Michael, Tammy, Tracy,Danny and Carrie like our own. Lenny and Maureen brought us together, and for that we are forever grateful. Whenever we think of you it will always put a smile on our faces.
See you later, Len
