Leroy B. "LB" Myers, of Dennis, passed away at 10:27 a.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Freeman Health in Joplin.
He was born on July 21, 1962 in Parsons to Leroy Ben and Donna Jean (Foster) Myers.
LB grew up in Dennis and attended Labette County High School.
He owned his own farm and farmed in the Dennis area for several years. LB loved riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents, Ben and Donna Myers of Dennis; four sisters, Beverly Goedeke of Altamont, Darlene Spencer of Mound Valley, Della Myers of Parsons and Loretta Hucke (Brian) of Parsons; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by two brother-in-laws, Rick Spencer and Mike Beebe.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Carson – Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery in rural Dennis.
Memorials are suggested to the Labette County Sheriff's Department and can be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357. Complete obituary details will be announced at www.wallfuneralservices.com.
