Leslie Carol Davis, 73, of Beaufort, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025.
Born in Carteret County, North Carolina, on March 2, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Merita Carol Chadwick and Harry Sheldon Davis.
She is survived by her son, Ashley Harrison Davis (Mary Alice Davis), and her brother, Christopher Scott Davis (Sharon Davis).
She was preceded in death by her mother, Merita Carol Chadwick, her father, Harry Davis, and her brother, Sheldon Davis.
Leslie was known for her independence and strong-willed nature. She had a deep love for cooking and for the many puppies she welcomed into her life over the years, from Yorkies to Pomeranians and beyond.
Funeral services will be held at her childhood home, Shell Landing (161 Shore Drive, Beaufort, North Carolina, 28516), at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26. Following the service, her ashes will be spread over North River, overlooking the Cape Lookout Lighthouse.
Those wishing to honor her memory may make donations to the Humane Society of Carteret County, 853 Hibbs Road Newport, NC 28570.
