Leslie M. (Sontheimer) Markovich, 60, of Apollo, passed away at UPMC East-Monroeville, with her loving family by her side.
Born October 6, 1964 in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Ronald C. and Patricia A. (Quinn) Sontheimer.
Lesile was a 1982 graduate of Franklin Regional High School and was a homemaker and member of St. James Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed gardening, and crafting with stained glass, making many items including windows, lamps, and unique keepsakes. Leslie also enjoyed cooking and cleaning. She most loved her family, especially going out to eat, shopping, and drinking Miller High Life with her daughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Sontheimer.
Leslie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Arliss "R" M. Markovich of Apollo; daughters, Marissa L. (Mitchel Fannin) Markovich of Apollo, Alayna M. (Joseph Nelson) Markovich of Apollo; siblings, Jay Sontheimer of Pittsburgh, Darcie Sontheimer of Delmont, Lauren (Jack) Ryng of North Carolina; many other family members and friends; and last but not least her beloved pets, Rambo and Mai Mai.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church, 109 Owens View Ave., Apollo, with Father John Euker, as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leslie's honor to the Leechburg Recycling Center, 104 Lovelace Road, Leechburg, PA 15656.
