Leslie Carl "Harley" Martin

Leslie "Harley" Carl Martin, age 55, of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Avery County, North Carolina. Born on March 19, 1970, he was the son of the late Edward and Sandy Ramsuar. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Mace Martin.
Harley was a man who loved deeply and lived fully. He cherished his family and his faith, always keeping God close in his heart. He found joy in detailing cars and mechanic work, and in his free time he enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, riding motorcycles, and playing video games. Harley was known for his kind spirit and easygoing nature, and he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
Harley is survived by his son, Damien Harley Reinhardt; his brothers: Daniel Biddix and Lee Biddix; his sister, Beth (Brandon) Ramos; two wonderful people who Harley saw as his parents, Johnny (Penny) Biddix; a special friend, Trish Phillips; and several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
The family will honor the life of their loved one privately, without holding a public service or gathering.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses during this difficult time.
