Lester Henry Bailey, 56, of Coldiron, KY passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late Sophia Wagers and Charlie Bailey on October 5, 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Operation Desert Shield.
Lester loved and served the Lord with all his heart. His goal in life was to see others saved and follow our Lord and Savior. He loved his family and he loved to help and do for others. Lester also loved to hunt and fish with his family and friends.
Lester is preceded in death by his brothers, Clark Wagers, Terry Bailey, Bert Bailey and Bill Bailey; Sister, Rita Henson.
Lester is survived by his loving Wife, Pamela Hensley Bailey; Daughter, Julia Miniard and Husband, Marty Miniard; Son, Matthew Bailey and Girlfriend, Kennedy Trusty; Grandchildren, Noah Miniard and Aubrey Miniard; Sisters, Judy Richards, Melissa Mathis and Stephanie Fultz; Brothers, Robbie Wagers and Wife June, Elmer Wagers, Shafter Bailey and Johnny Bailey and Wife Rose; Several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends will also mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 5PM until 8PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 also in the Chapel with Travis Gross, Jim Huff and Blake Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the New Creech Cemetery in Wallins with Dan Walker, Matthew Bailey, Marty Miniard, Noah Miniard, Eddie Middleton, Phillip Middleton, Patrick Middleton and James Middleton serving as pallbearers. Harlan County Honor Guard will provide military honors.
