Lester A. Walters Sr.

Lester A. Walters, Sr., 84, of Marysville, passed away at 11:40 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at his daughter's residence in Mifflin, surrounded by his family.
Born on June 3, 1940 in Juniata County, he is a son of the late John S. Walters, Sr. and Pauline (Smith) Walters. On June 17, 1958 he married his surviving wife, Dorothy (Leister) Walters with whom he was blessed to share over 67 years of marriage before his passing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Cathy Walters, Bill Walters, Pamela McClure, Dave Walters, Harold Walters and a daughter-in-law, Lesa Walters. He is also survived by one sister and three brothers, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lester Walters, Jr.
Lester was a 1958 graduate of Juniata joint High School. He was a machinist for Sutton Brothers in Marysville. He also drove truck and worked at Steel Mill in Coatesville, PA.
He was a member of the Marysville Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing cars.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
