Robert A. "Bob" Wilson, 70, of Mifflintown, passed away at 9:56 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at his home. Born on November 20, 1954, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of the late William A. Wilson and Marian J. "Mame" (Miller) Wilson. On January 24, 2009, he married his surviving wife, Lorie (Coder) Wilson, with whom he was blessed to share more than 15 years of marriage before his passing. Surviving are his children, Marlene "Marty" Johnson and companion, Chris Rudy, Melissa "Missy" Silva and companion, Alex Eaton, Kara Amey and husband, Justin, James "Jimbob" Wilson and wife, Amber. He is also survived by siblings, Deb Swartz and husband, Fred and Alan Wilson as well as nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Bob was preceded in death by daughters, Tina Louise, Tammy Jo and Marian Jeanette "Mannie", as well as siblings, Dorothy Mae 'Tink", Betty Ann "Toot", Richard "Rick" L. Wilson, James Franklin Wilson, and Susan K. Wilson. He was a member of the United States Air Force where he did electrical work on planes. Bob worked for fifty plus years as an electrician for Empire Kosher and Jay Fulkroads. Mr. Wilson attended St. Stephens Lutheran Church and Higher Ground Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post 298 in Mifflintown, the Sure Shot Gun Club, and the Millerstown Moose. Bob enjoyed tinkering, sprint car racing, hunting, reloading bullets, cracking jokes, spending time with his favorite nephew Eddie, and always enjoyed the time he spent with his family and his friend, Jimmy and taking naps during Nascar races. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9th, 2025, from the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, (Licking Creek), 8489 Licking Creek Road, Mifflintown, PA, 17059 with the Pastor Richard Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, Thursday, at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown. Online tributes and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.brownfuneralhomesinc.com.
