LH B. Thompson, 80 years old went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 10, 2025, at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland after a brief illness.
LH B. known as "Sunset" to friends and family, was born March 24, 1945, in Chunky, Mississippi, to the late Lott Thompson and Margaret (Ellis) Thompson.
He attended the Mississippi School system. He later moved to New Jersey as a young man. LH B. worked at Vineland Kosher for many years as a supervisor. He retired after 52 years of service.
LH B. was known for his kind spirit. He loved his family and friends. He loved fishing with his friends and sitting on the porch enjoying the fresh air. Most of all, he loved talking with his children, his sister Winnie and brother John. LH B.was looked after by his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister Winnie, with the help of Holy Redeemer.
He leaves to cherish his memory; three sons, Anthony B. Thompson, Vincent E. Thompson, Lott Thompson, all of Vineland; one daughter, Denise L. Thompson of Pittsgrove; sister, Winnie Faye Thompson and brother, John L Thompson of Vineland NJ; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Six brothers, predeceased LH B.; Edward Thompson, Clois Thompson, Louis Thompson, Leroy Thompson, Bill Thompson, Rouvelman (Tunie) Thompson, James (Pap) Thompson and three sisters; Corinne Thompson Aultman, Shirley Ann Burns, Annie Carol Thompson; three grandchildren, Anthony Thompson Jr., Lorraine Thompson and Dewitt D. Mayes.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, April 26th at 1pm.
