Lila Rose Fitzgerald

Lila Rose Fitzgerald fell into the arms of Jesus on August 15th. Lila was born on April 30th, 2014 in Louisville, KY. From the moment she was born, she brought joy with her everywhere she went. She was the youngest child and only daughter of Joey and Brandie Fitzgerald. Her older brothers, Sam, Jack, and Luke, adored her, and she idolized and loved her brothers back. Her mischievous grin, laughter, and adventurous spirit made her a leader and an incredible friend. Lila loved music, the beach, playing pranks, making silly videos, her friends, and her family. Most of all, Lila loved Jesus. One of her favorite songs was Promises by Maverick City Music, which she heard at Asbury University during a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Lila is now resting in the sweet arms of Jesus because His promises are always faithful. "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26) She is survived by her parents, Brandie and Joey; brothers, Sam, Jack, and Luke; grandparents, Steve and Brenda Fitzgerald, Janet Broadwell, and Tom and Pam Broadwell; aunts and uncles, Lee and Melissa Broadwell, Vince Fitzgerald, and Chris and Kelly Heiden; cousins, Lily, Nora, and Levi Broadwell, Carter, Shayna, Piper, Alex, and Josie Fitzgerald, and Ruthie, Harrison, Reynolds, and Fitz Heiden; Kayla Battleson and a countless number of other family members and friends who all loved her deeply. A memorial service for Lila will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Newnan First United Methodist Church, 33 Greenville Street, Newnan, GA 30263.
