Lilian Siterlet

Lilian Siterlet, longtime resident of Clawson, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born on December 13, 1947, in Glasgow, Scotland, to Norman and Margaret (Spratt) Adair, Lilian immigrated to the United States in 1955, settling first in Detroit. She later graduated from Lamphere High School in 1965.
Lilian began her banking career at National Bank of Royal Oak and went on to work with First Federal Bank, Charter One, and Citizens Bank, retiring from the mortgage lending department in 2005 after a long and dedicated career in the industry.
She was a talented seamstress, a gifted quilter, and someone who found joy in a good sparkly sweatshirt. Her greatest happiness, however, came from time spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. And for those who knew her well, there was no mistaking the sparkle in her eye when a casino trip was mentioned - there was a slot machine out there with her name on it, and we all accepted our place in line when the reels started spinning.
On February 28, 1969, she married the love of her life, Donald "Joe" Siterlet. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories until Joe's passing in December 2017.
Lilian is survived by her daughters, Melanie (William) Hardy and Jennifer (Chris) Annetta; her beloved grandchildren, Katelyn, Lauren, and Patrick; and her sister, Norma (Joe) Berglin. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe, her parents, and her brother, Ian Adair.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Lilian's life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, Clawson, MI 48017.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Lilian will be remembered for her warm heart, spirited personality, sharp wit, and the endless love she poured into her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
