Lilith Arlene Ebanks, born on July 13, 1931, in the Cayman Islands, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, in New Caney, Texas, at the age of 93.
She was the beloved daughter of William and Cristabella Ebanks, and a devoted wife to th late Alfred Ebanks, with whom she shared 60 years of loving marriage.
Lilith was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, her granddaughter Leila Elrod, one brother, and four sisters.
Lilith leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her four children: sons Dyrl Ebanks Sr. and his wife Melinda, Dirk Ebanks Sr., Deal Ebanks Sr., and daughter Lillene Ebanks. She is also survived by her brother, Billy Banker.
Her memory will be cherished by her 13 grandchildren: Brandy Head, Angel Melton, Emma Ebanks, Aimee Ebanks, Christina Laugere, Ariane Ebanks, Butch Ebanks, Dyrl Ebanks Jr. and his wife Emeralda, Billy Ebanks, Deal Ebanks Jr., Dirk Ebanks Jr., Anchor Ebanks, and Brandon Winklemann.
Lilith was blessed with 16 great-grandchildren: Theresa Laferriere and her husband Andy, Melody Banda, Skyla Head, Sarah Vance, Baby White, Kenzley Ebanks, Chris Rogers, Brycten Head, Hunter Rogers, Brandon Jr., Jordan Hines, Deal Ebanks III, Jonah Ebanks, Bailey Winklemann, Samuel Ebanks, and Gaven Ebanks.
She was also the proud great-great-grandmother to Gage Vance, Dexter Banda, Jack Banda, King Guerra, Chris Hunter's daughter, Skyla Head, and Hunter's son.
She will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Her legacy lives on in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
