Lillian B. Holding, 88, of Cedarville passed away at her home under the care of her family and hospice on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The daughter of the late Harry Berry and Edna Davis Berry, she was born in Bridgeton and was the wife of David William Holding. She had resided in the Sayre's Neck area of Lawrence Township most of her life, accept for a period during her younger years when she lived in Bridgeton. In addition to being a homemaker and caring for her family she had been previously employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville and in the Cafeteria at the Myron L. Powell Elementary School in Cedarville. She had been a member of the Cedarville Baptist Church and always enjoyed the time that she spent with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by two daughters, Donna L. Ecret of Salem and Dianna L. Horner of Georgia; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a brother, Ted Berry of Virginia. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Wible and brother, Harry Berry. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville where the interment will follow the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Lillian's memory be made to Lawrence Township EMS, 355 Main Street, Cedarville, NJ 08311.
