Lillian Mae Webb, 88, went to be with our Lord on Monday December 30, 2024 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service will be 2 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Boyd Cemetery, Boyd Texas. Family will receive friends 12-5 PM, Monday January 6th at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Lillian was born February 2, 1936 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Joe S. and Ruby Ella (Sharp) Carey. She married Johnny Carl Webb on January 30, 1953 in Atoka, Oklahoma, and were married over 60 years until his passing in 2016. She attended school in Tushka, Oklahoma. Throughout her marriage she was a homemaker where she gladly took care of her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the River of Life Church in Decatur. If you knew Lillian well, you knew she never missed an opportunity to say “I love you”. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and dear friend to those who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Webb; parents Joe and Ruby Carey; her sisters, Martha Dee Carey and Edna Carey; her brothers, William E. Carey, Joe Kenneth Carey, Sherman L. Carey, Charles Ray Carey and Douglas Carey.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her sisters Betty Slaton of Tupelo, Ok, Linda Sue Akin of Caney, OK; sons, Carl Webb of Briar, Tommy Webb and wife Stacey of Springtown, Joe Webb and former spouse Joyce Marie Webb of Massachusetts, John Webb and wife Yvonne of Paradise; daughters, Diane Clarke and husband James of Burleson and Michelle Thompson and husband Jody of Bellevue; grandchildren, Jeffery Cooper, Amy Cooper, Cory Cooper, Douglas Webb, Jason Webb, Stephen Webb, Lenesa Webb, Jimmie Thompson and numerous extended family members as well as a host of friends.
