Lillian Williamson, 86, of Mountain, WI, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Caraton Commons in Green Bay. She was born on November 22, 1938, in Chicago, the only child of German immigrants August and Anne Weinbrecker.
Lillian graduated from Wabeno High School in 1957 and earned her degree from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 1961. She taught Business Education at Coleman, Kaukauna, and Little Chute high schools from 1961 until 1975. On June 17, 1967, she married Henry Williamson at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church in Lakewood.
In 1975, Lillian retired from teaching when their daughter Lisa came into their lives. Together, she and Henry founded Williamson Builders, where Lillian applied her business skills to managing the company's operations.
Lillian was an active member of St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church where she served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. She also invested time and energy in her community through her work on the Wabeno school board and as the town clerk for Mountain. She was a member of the Lioness Club, a gardening club, card groups, and the Paya Lake Association, where she formed many lasting friendships.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brian) LeClair; brothers-in-law James, David (Appleton), Richard (Deb), and Louis (Ivy) (Seymour); Lloyd Vigus (Plover); sisters-in-law Ann Morack (Hortonville), Helen Harnett (Blaine, MN), Sally Williamson (Clintonville), Ruth Williamson (Doylestown, PA), Joan (Tom) Ostrowski (Seymour), Janet Wilquet (Hobart), and Sharon Hinz (Horicon); many nieces, nephews, and their children; as well as long-time neighbors, and many friends, both old and new.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers- and sisters-in-law Glen Morack, Danny Harnett, Gerald Williamson, Paul Wilquet, and Chuck Hinz; and Mary Vigus, Ally Williamson, and Jeannie Williamson and her mother and father in law Peter and Marion Williamson.
Lillian will be remembered fondly for her love of Paya Lake, her beautiful gardens, her talent as a ceramicist, her cheerful demeanor, and the joyful summer gatherings she hosted for her family.
A visitation will be held at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lakewood on August 23, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Father Anil Polumari will preside. Burial will immediately follow Mass in the Parish cemetery.
