Linda Sue Arnett (Nash) 76, born October 13th, 1948 in Louisville, Ky to the late Haskell and Garnetta Nash. A beautiful loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin and dear friend passed away in her home September 10th, 2025.

Linda embraced her role as a homemaker with unwavering devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to be outside in her yard tending to all her beautiful flowers and garden where she could grow anything! She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending any events they were participating in as her love for them was beyond measure. Linda spent many hours crocheting gorgeous blankets for loved ones, friends and all the new babies! She thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside with her husband watching the hummingbirds fly around feeding off several feeders she had throughout the yard and fighting with each other to get to the feeder. Linda made many yummy foods, canned goods and baked goods from scratch, having a warm meal on the table every night. She was the true matriarch of the family, possessing deep wisdom and knowledge gained throughout her lifetime.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Haskell and Garnetta Nash, brothers: Larry and Leonard Nash.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William Arnett, her two children: Derrick Arnett (Stephany) and Tamara Conner (Trey), her grandchildren: Haley Arnett, Alahna Salyer (Jordan), Hunter Arnett, Gavin Conner and Sophia Leonardo, and her great grandson: Asher, sister: Leta Weedman, sister in laws: Judy and Linda Kay Nash and her cousin/best friend: Alma Listen.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am(est) Monday, September 15th at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive, Louisville, Ky 40214, with Brother Travis Vaughn officiating. Burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, Ky with small graveside service.
