Linda Baker
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Life Partner, Sister, Aunt, and Friend
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Baker, who left this world peacefully on April 14th, 2025 at the age of 72. Linda was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a treasured life partner, a supportive sister, a kindhearted aunt, and a true friend to many.
Linda had a gift for making everyone feel at home. Her greatest joy came from caring for those she loved, and nothing brought her more happiness than cooking for her family. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where laughter was shared over home-cooked meals and where traditions were passed down one dish at a time.
She also had a deep love for nature, finding peace in her garden where she nurtured flowers, herbs, and vegetables with the same care she gave to everyone in her life. Her green thumb was matched only by her fun spirit and her love for animals-especially her dogs, who were not just pets but cherished members of the family.
Linda's warmth, generosity, and fierce devotion and strength touched everyone who knew her. She was a constant presence, a guiding light, and a source of unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Thursday, April 17th from 4-7 pm at Muehlenkamp's in Newport, KY. Funeral services will be Friday, April 18th at 10am in the same location. The family will host a continued celebration of Linda's life at American Legion in Newport at 2pm.
Linda is survived by her life partner, Luciano Ciambelli; daughter, Brandi (Kevin) Pfeffer; son, James (Jennifer) Williams; sister, Diane Murnahan; brothers, Vaughn (Nancy) & Mark (Shari) Combs and 5 grandchildren, Hannah (Hunter) Holbrook, Jeremy Williams, Braeden Pfeffer and Rebecca & Amy Elam.
She will be missed dearly, remembered always, and loved forever.
