Jerome "Jerry" Edward Voges Jr, 70, of Wilder passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. He was a retired automotive technician and owned and operated Jerry Voges Lawn and Landscaping . He was a Facilities Maintenance Technician with Florence Baptist Church before retiring. Jerry was also a volunteer fireman with the cities of Bellevue and Fort Thomas. Jerry was a member of Sacred Heart Church, now Divine Mercy for over 25 years. He was a soccer coach and referee with the Northern Kentucky Soccer League for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harlien Georgia (nee. Ilg) Voges, brother, Gregory Voges & brother-in-law William A. Yates. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne (nee. Yates) Voges of Wilder,Ky; daughter, Erin (Jeff) Smith, of Cold Spring, Ky; son, Jerome "Scott" (Misty) Voges of Southgate, Ky; father, Jerome Edward Voges,Sr.; sisters, Pam (Allen) Thompson of Cecilia, Ky & Paula (the late Larry) Griner of Elizabethtown, Ky; brothers, Mark (Shaunna) of Owenton, Ky & Dwayne (Dorothy) Voges of Taylor Mill, Ky; sisters-in-law Mary Anna Meyer of Peoria, Ill, Virginia Goetz of Highland Heights ,Ky Patricia Yates of White House, Ohio and brother-in-law John J. Yates of Mason, Ohio; also 5 grandchildren, Logan, Justin, Isabella, Avery & Katelyn. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. Memorials are suggested to the nurses at the UC Barrett Cancer Center, 234 Goodman St., Cincinnati, OH 45219 or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
