Thomas Robert Voges

Thomas "Tom" Robert Voges, age 62, of St. Michael, MN, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1963, in Wadena, MN, to LaVern and Jeanette (Bruder) Voges. He grew up in Browerville, where he graduated from high school with the Class of 1981.
After high school, Tom moved to Elk River to begin his career, where he met the love of his life, Jacquelyn Reierson. The two were united in marriage in 1984 in Big Lake, MN.
Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army for three years and was stationed in Germany during his service.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Tom loved deer hunting and returned to the same location year after year for over 25 seasons. He was passionate about fishing-especially for walleye on Lake of the Woods-and even when he wasn't casting a line, he found peace just being out on the water.
Tom was a dedicated Minnesota sports fan, always cheering on any of the home teams. He was known for his fun-loving spirit, quick wit, and the ability to make those around him laugh. His great sense of humor and welcoming personality made him a joy to be around.
He is preceded in death by his parents, LaVern and Jeanette Voges; and sister, Florence Ostrowski.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Amy (Ryan) Jacobson, Tom (Kirsten) Voges, and Tim Voges; grandchildren, Lindsey Burkett, AnnMarie Voges, and Robert Voges; siblings, Jan (Joe) Kern and Dennis (Karen) Voges; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main Street N, St. Michael, MN.
