Linda Keller Barrett, aged 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Goodlettsville, TN, on April 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughter, Gina Barrett. Born on October 5, 1944, in Madison, TN, Linda's life was a testament to kindness, love, and hard work.
She graduated from Madison High School and had perfect attendance most all those years. Linda attended business school and embarked on a professional career as a homemaker, realtor, caretaker but Linda dedicated 23 years to Aladdin Industries, where she became a respected figure in her field. Her career exemplified her commitment to excellence and teamwork, traits that she carried into all aspects of her life. She even taught belly dancing while working at Cosmopolitan Health Spa in Hendersonville
Above all, Linda cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her proudest accomplishments included raising her daughter, Gina, and nurturing the bonds she shared with her grandson, Michael Halfacre, and her great-granddaughters, Luci Noel Halfacre and Zoey Mae Halfacre. The joy of spending time with her family and friends, particularly during yard sales, filled her heart with happiness and provided countless cherished memories.
Linda had an adventurous spirit with interests that spanned traveling and cruising, to riding horses, boating, bowling, skating, and even riding motorcycles. Her love for life was infectious, and she brought warmth and joy to everyone around her. Deeply devoted to her faith, she loved the Lord and lived her values in every encounter.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Gina Barrett; grandson, Michael (Abbi) Halfacre; great-granddaughters, Luci Noel Halfacre and Zoey Mae Halfacre; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Barrett; parents, Paul Vernon Keller and Ada Allene Keller, and her brothers, Billy Keller and Joe Keller.
Visitation services will be held at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, then again on Wednesday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be conducted on April 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, followed by her burial at 3:00 PM. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Linda Keller Barrett leaves behind a rich legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
