Linda L. Beougher, age 80, of Amanda, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Primrose Assisted Living Community in Lancaster. She was born in Lancaster on September 17, 1944, to the late Loren and Stella (Hartman) Armstrong. She was a 1962 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Larry Beougher on August 16, 1969. She was employed by Anchor Hocking, of Lancaster, OH. She loved spending time with family and friends, volunteering for CAPA for over 25 years, and various other volunteer organizations. Family and friends will remember sharing cookies and desserts that she prepared for family gatherings. She was a lifetime active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lancaster.
She is survived by her niece, Janice (Rod) Francis, of Amanda; great niece, Susan (Bob) Ellis, of Baltimore; and great great niece, Katie Ellis. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Larry M. Beougher; and two sisters, Marilyn (Ernie) Badurina and Louise (Paul) Hensel.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, 24, 2025 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St., Amanda with Pastor Mark Raddatz officiating. Interment will follow at Amanda Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to express its appreciation to Primrose Assisted Living Community where she resided and thrived for 16 months at the end of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 231 East Mulberry St., Lancaster, OH 43130 or to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.
