Linda Brueck Obituary

Linda was born March 31, 1962, in Des Moines, IA, to William and Mary (Fields) Mallory and graduated from Southeast Polk High School in 1981.
Linda carried on her mom's Christmas tradition of making and delivering candy to family and friends with her nieces Brittney and Anna, sisters, Carrie and Barb, and nephew, Tyler. In her free time she enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with family and most of all her grandchildren. She cherished her "boys", Peanut and Leo.
Linda had worked in various jobs in the Des Moines area, most recently as a lead housekeeper for Prairie Meadows for 7 years, from where she unwillingly retired due to her health.
Linda is survived by her children, Benjamin James (Monique) Fettkether and Maria Jo (Jon Maher) Fettkether; her siblings, Mike (Barb) Mallory, Steve Mallory and Carrie Hanson, all of Des Moines; eight grandchildren, Alex Fettkether, Maddie Paquette, and Callie Paquette, Tiphani Fettkether, Rickey Kaster, Kassidy Maher, Elvi Maher, and Brenden Maher. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Tuesday, June 28, at Berean Assembly of God Church in Pleasant Hill. Contributions may be made to the Taylor House Hospice. Online condolences will be welcomed at IlesCares.com.

Steve , I want you to know that I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. I know Linda meant very much to you as your other siblings and how important your family is to you and you have always been there for them as they have you and I am so sorry for your loss. I didn´t get the
pleasure of meeting Linda but
I know you loved her very deeply and you always spoke very highly of her . My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Linda, we hung out many years ago. She was always such fun I will always remember her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all her family. Thanks for letting us know and keeping us updated on her Steve... Love you guys, hugs !!
