Linda Lou Clements, age 74, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born on June 25, 1950, in Lancaster, the daughter of Arnold L. and Clara (Udelhoven) Hartman. Linda graduated from Potosi High School in 1968. She was employed at Loudspeaker Components, LLC for a short time before managing Gerkow’s, where she was employed for several years, and later was a sales representative for Stanley Home Products. On September 9, 1973, Linda was united in marriage to David G. Clements. David was employed with Grant County as a milk tester for fourteen years. Linda would often assist David when he would test milk. She enjoyed crafting, especially card making, bowling, and taking the grandchildren to Orchard Manor to play Bingo with the residents. Linda also loved to attend the Bell Tower Theatre and to take rides out in the countryside. She was very giving with her time, volunteering wherever needed as well as many years at the Grant County Thrift Shop and the Special Olympics where she volunteered as a coach. 

Survivors include her children: Michael (Jennifer) Clements and Cynthia Clements; five grandchildren: Taylor (Trent Schroeder), Alexis (Devan Bailey), and Johnathan Clements, Jasmine and Montanna Rice; her siblings: Kristine (Tim) Smythe, Charles (Jerolyn) Hartman, Paul (Laura) Hartman, and Timothy Hartman; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, David in 2010; her brother, Jim Hartman; brothers-in-law, Donald and Roger (Joan) Clements; her father and mother-in-law, J. Wilbert and Martha (Wanezek) Clements.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial will be in St. Clement Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
