Linda Forbes Craven

Linda Forbes Craven, age 64, passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on December 9, 2025. Born in Brockton, MA, Linda grew up in Randolph, where she formed lifelong values rooted in family, loyalty, and kindness. She graduated from Randolph High School in 1979 and later earned her degree from UMass Amherst in 1983, an achievement she held with quiet pride.

Linda was born to her late parents, Frederick and Corinne Forbes (Syddall) on August 31, 1961. Linda eventually made her home in Pembroke, MA, with her devoted husband of 35 years, Michael where they raised their family. She was an adoring mother to her four children; Brendan, Corissa, Daniel, and Brian each of whom she guided with a love that shaped them in profound and lasting ways.

Linda is also survived by her siblings; Gayle Exworthy (Forbes) of Dana Point, CA, Kenneth Forbes of Richardson, TX, Robert Forbes of East Bridgewater, MA, and Stephen Forbes of Simpsonville, SC as well as their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

Linda's family was the center of her world, and motherhood was her true calling. However, beyond her devotion to family, Linda found joy in the simple, beautiful parts of life. She loved her summer days on Duxbury Beach and gardening in her backyard. She cherished spending time with family and friends, sharing conversations, holidays, celebrations, and the kind of everyday moments that become treasured memories.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her but her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and love.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, December 15, from 4–7 PM at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanson, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16, at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax, MA.
