Linda Lee Donhauser

Linda Lee Bedwell Donhauser, 79, of Glen Arm, Md., passed away on Sunday, August 10th, in her home. She was born on December 16, 1945, in Union Mills, Md., and was a daughter of the late Robert and Verda (Cheek) Bedwell. Her husband of 36 years, the late Keith Donhauser, predeceased her in 2003. Linda spent her working life with Johns Hopkins University from the age of 17, starting in medical records and working her way up to become the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Center for Communication Programs. She retired from that role after 20 years in 2006. She then worked as a program/budget analyst at Johns Hopkins University before officially retiring as a lady of leisure in 2007. Linda was a woman with grit, determination, and drive. She had a strong love of family and for those friends she chose to bring into her small circle. She loved animals and found great comfort through her faithful companions, her dog Jak, and her cat Chessie. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Cristin Kelly Brooks (Husband Andy), her cherished sister, Ruby Marie Stonesifer (Husband Jay Richard "Dick"), her nieces and nephews Brett Stonesifer (wife Joanne), Timothy Stonesifer (wife Clare), Edwin "Eddy" Donhauser (wife Jennifer), Paul Donhauser (partner Caitlin), Matthew Donhauser (wife Molly), Trista (husband James), Samantha Donhauser, and Victoria Donhauser. She was also a great aunt and a great-great aunt to many. Family and friends may call the Funeral Home, 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29B) on Thursday, August 14th from 4 to 8p.m.; where all are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, August 15th at 10a.m. Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society of Harford County.
