Linda Fields Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sosebee Funeral Home on Apr. 19, 2024.
Linda "Glenda" Fields, of Canton, GA, born on August 18, 1949, passed away on April 17, 2024, in Hinesville, GA with her caregiver by her side. Glenda was a woman of many passions, delighting in the intricate art of crocheting, quilting, and sewing. Her gardens were a testament to her love for nature, as were her well-tended chickens.
A master in flea market treasure hunting, she loved nothing more than securing a bargain she could share with her loved ones. She spent joyful hours flea marketing, always with an eye for the unique and valuable. In the kitchen, Glenda was a culinary adventurer, inspired by the likes of Paula Deen, eagerly exploring new tastes and recipes with warmth and enthusiasm.
One of her most treasured relationships was with her compassionate caregiver and friend, whom she met amidst the humble aisles of the Dollar Store. Their bond was a beacon of mutual respect and friendship. Glenda's vibrant spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Wyolene Fields; sisters, Eva Byers and Carol Fields; brothers, J.L. Jones and Paul Fields; and nephew, Chuck Stanley. Glenda is survived by her sisters, Louise Fields and Kathy Weaver; nieces Carey Brock and Andrea Watson (Michael); great-niece, Kayla Watson; and special friends and caregiver, Behnam Daei and Nahid.
Ms. Fields was cremated and in honoring her request no services are planned at this time.
