Linda Galewski, a devoted wife, sister, and grandmother, passed away on November 19, 2024. Born on May 18, 1950, to Willie May Ferguson and Columbus Rupert Wingo, who preceded her in death, Linda was also preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters.
After retiring from General Motors, Linda pursued her passion for caring for children. Her love, kindness, and generosity earned her the affectionate title of "Gammi" to all who knew her. While she may have claimed to be "as mean as a snake," her cheerfulness and warmth touched the hearts of everyone around her.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Ted Galewski; her daughter, Stephanie Colvin; son Jason Galweski; and her five cherished grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.
A memorial service will be held at Aluds Funeral Home on December 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
