Linda Leopard Grimes, 71, wife of the late Johnny Grimes, of West Union, passed away peacefully at her home. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Grimes was the daughter of the late Charlie Lee Leopard and Marzelle Phillips Leopard. She was a proud graduate of Walhalla High School, where she served as a majorette and formed lifelong friendships. Mrs. Grimes dedicated many years to her career at Schneider Electric Square D, retiring in administration. She was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church and was deeply connected to her hometown of Walhalla. She loved the beach and cherished time spent with her family. Mrs. Grimes is survived by her daughter: Brandy Bunton (Bert); grandchildren: Enzy, Eston, Emerson, and Evylee of Arrington, TN; daughter: Beth Bottoms (Ben); grandchildren: Bailey and Laney of West Union, SC; brother: Keith Leopard (Stephanie); sister-in-laws: Rose Grimes and Judy Leopard; brother-in-law: Don Grimes; and nieces: Tabatha Faulk, Amber Arrington, JuLee Colner, and Cody Leopard. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her brother: Lee Leopard; and brother-in-law: Charlie Grimes. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at their respective homes.
