Linda "June" Reid, 72, of Walhalla, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A staple of Walhalla, SC, Ms. Reid was the daughter of the late Clyde and Sara Cromer Reid. She was a retired math teacher at Walhalla High School and she worked at Mountain View Restaurant for over 20 years.
Ms. Reid is survived by her daughter: Elizabeth "Betsy" Bethea (Brent); brother: Danny Reid (Ginger); and granddaughter: Ava Bethea. June loved her students and thought of them as her own children.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Reid was preceded in death by her grandson: Grayson Link Bethea; and sister: Kathie Reid.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family requests that you wear crazy socks or your "June" shirts to the memorial service in honor of June.
Flowers are accepted.
