Mrs. Linda Beasley Guy, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Pauline Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Dr. Robert Cooke will officiate.
Mrs. Guy was born on November 19, 1944 in Johnston County, NC to the late Milford and Jewel Creech Beasley. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene “Gene” Guy and her son-in-law, Michael Reid Brady. Mrs. Guy retired from the purchasing department at Wake Tech Community College. She was a homemaker and the best Nana. She was a member of Pauline Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC.
Survivors include her children, Darlene Guy Brady, Mike Lee and wife, Rita, Toni Lee Alford and husband, Chuck, and Erica Lee Norris and husband, Gabe; special sister and friend, Frances Lee; nieces, Annette Adams and husband, Randy, Jeanette McNeill and husband, Matt, Hollie Guy Blackwell and husband, Ed, and Laura Stone; grandchildren, Brayden Barefoot, Cole Norris and Toby Norris; brother-in-law, Jimmy Guy and wife, Laura; sisters-in-law, Faye Guy, Betty Guy, and Mary Ann Massey; aunts, Jean Creech and Rita Creech; many great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service in the church sanctuary, and other times at the home of Toni and Chuck Alford 1695 Strickland’s Crossroads Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pauline Baptist Church C/O Janice Gregory 2915 Lee’s Union Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524 or to Brookside Christian Academy 804 W. Broad Street, Dunn, NC 28334.
