Linda B. Henson, age 74, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will take place at 10:00 AM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS. Rev. Andrew Griffin will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Linda was born to Willard Sexton and Lillie Moore on July 19, 1949, in Rankin, County, MS. She has lived in Forest, MS for the last 54 Years.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Henson, Sr., parents, Willard Sexton and Lillie Moore, son James Henson, Jr., granddaughter, Chasity Nicole Henson, sisters Mary Stroud and Elmar Bynun. She is survived by daughter, Joy Cotten (Joseph) of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Brandi Murphy, Devan Leach, three great grandchildren, Elijah Murphy and Adeline and Levi Leach.
Pallbearers Joseph Cotten, Devan Leach, Robert Wiltcher, Mark Wiltcher, Robert Bynum and David Reid.
