Linda "Lyn" Lee (Bellar) Hines, 73, of Washington Court House, passed Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, following a brief illness.
Lyn was born May 19, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to the late James and Flora (Gillespie) Bellar. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Jefferson, Chapter 300. Lyn loved sewing (collecting fabric) and learning of her family heritage with genealogy research.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Wayne Hines, and a brother-in-law, Jim Morris.
Survivors include her loving husband Larry Hines with whom she had just celebrated their 55th anniversary; daughter, Jennifer Hines; grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan) May and Sabra Hines; great grandchildren, Alexis and Camdyn May; sisters, Carol Morris and Lisa (Dorrian) Bellar; several nieces and nephews, including Julie Davis, Jackie Morris, Kristy (Tom) Coleman, Dwayne (Robbin) Howe, and Randy (Donna) Bruce; as well as her many cherished friends and extended family, including special friends, Andrew and Sara DeSmidt.
A funeral is planned for 1pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Masonic Lodge in Jeffersonville, Ohio with Matt Hagler officiating. She will receive an Eastern Star service just prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Jeffersonville Masonic Lodge on Wednesday from 11am until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, Donations are suggested to the Order of the Easter Star, P.O. Box 1, Jeffersonville, Ohio 43128.
