It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Lie, age 51, on January 27, 2025. Born on August 6, 1973, in Indonesia, Linda brought joy and love into the lives of those who knew her. She was a resident of Sugar Hill, Georgia, where she lived with her devoted husband, Carlos Ruiz, with whom she shared 17 wonderful years of marriage.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband Carlos Ruiz; mother, Njoek Lan Tjin; sisters, Maria Lie, Kie Suij Lie, Sian Scibilia and her husband Joseph; brothers, Alif Saputra and his wife Gracelynn, Tjun Lie and his wife Ai Ng; nieces and nephews, Andrea and Grant Scibilia, Allen Saputra, Lively and Willie Lie; and brother-in-law, Angel Maldonado. Linda was preceded in death by her father Gunadi Lie.
As an avid traveler, Linda had a passion for exploring new places, with some of her favorite destinations including the picturesque landscapes of Italy, the vibrant culture of Spain, and the stunning vistas of Portugal. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life inspired those around her to embrace the beauty of the world.
