Linda Marler Obituary Linda S. Marler, (nee Gall), 74 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She will be greatly missed by Douglas, her husband of 53 years, her sons Tim (Jennifer) and Kevin (Michelle) Marler; her four grandchildren Drew, Abby, Jacob, and Nathan, along with lifelong friends. Linda was born September 4, 1950 to her beloved parents Richard and Gwendolyn (Peg) Gall, both native to Racine, Wisconsin. Her family eventually settled in Gary in 1955. Linda remained in Northwest Indiana for her entire life, residing in Valparaiso since 1987. Linda is a graduate of Andrean High School and attended Purdue University and has remained a lifelong Boilermaker fan. Linda will also be remembered as an avid White Sox fan, piano teacher, and manager of the Merrillville Animal Hospital which was owned with her husband, Dr. Douglas Marler. She loved her family most and that family always included her Golden Retrievers which is why Linda has requested that all donations in her memory be made to Lakeshore PAWS, 4611 Evans Ave., Valparaiso, IN 46383 At Lindas request, the funeral mass and burial were private.
