Linda Martin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Oltmann Funeral Home - Union on Dec. 2, 2025.
Linda Sue Martin was born at Travis Air Force base in California on July 27, 1960, to Charles Huggins Sr. and Nancy Someiski (nee' Purdue). She passed away on December 1, 2025, in Washington, Missouri at the age of 65.
Linda spent her entire career working as a waitress. She loved the joy she received from meeting new people and serving others. For the last ten years she was a cherished member of the team at the Old Dutch Tavern in Washington. In the rare moments that Linda wasn't devoting her time to her career, she could be found tending to her garden and lawn. Linda also faithfully attended Elevation Worship online every week. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two children, Greg (Sara) Hickey Jr. of Sullivan, Amanda (Eddie) Talley of Washington; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Sarah Pryor of Illinois; one brother, Charles Huggins II of Illinois; and many other cherished family members and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Huggins Sr. and Nancy Someiski; four siblings and her devoted partner for many years, Wes Stegmann.
Visitation for 65-year-old Linda Martin will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
The Martin family is served by Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO.
