Linda Ann Martinetti

Linda Ann Obester Martinetti, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and fiancé, passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 54, after fighting gracefully against cancer. She was raised in Linden, NJ and resided in Hamilton, NJ for most of her adulthood. She is survived by Ceil Obester (mother), Julianna Martinetti (daughter), Samantha Martinetti (daughter), Suzanne Maroney (sister), Alexandra D'Avanzo (niece), Lewis D'Avanzo (nephew), Ron Lauterbach (fiancé), and his daughter Lexi. Additionally, she is well-loved by many friends and extended family who are deeply impacted by her departure. She is predeceased by Gabriel Obester (father) and Michael Obester (brother).
Linda was best known for her passionate approach to life as she had many interests, roles, and gifts to grace this world. Her world primarily consisted of her daughters, for whom she was an outstanding mother. She was a talented karaoke performer, reader, crafter, music- enthusiast, and a lover of animals/pets as well as the beach. She devoted her career to healthcare, where she served as a patient-services coordinator, then eventually manager of operations, in behavioral health departments. She will always be remembered for her compassion, beautiful singing voice, and contagious smile. She was the leader of Central NJ Girl Scout Troop 70940 and a member of the Hibernian club of Trenton.
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, a viewing will be held at 11am - 3pm at 1863 Hamilton Ave, Trenton, including a small service at 2:30pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to William Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hamilton Township Animal Shelter.
