Linda Lee Kahler McCardle, age 85, passed away on October 28th 2025 at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nollie Frank McCardle, Sr.; son, Henry Justin McCardle; parents, Henry Andrew Kahler and Ruby Mae Hudson Kahler; son-in-law, David Lee Warfield; and her long-time companion, Donald P. Redder.
Survivors include her three children, Lisa McCardle Warfield, Nollie Frank McCardle, Jr., Norma Lou McCardle Calhoun; and grandchildren, Derek Lee Warfield (Roxanne), Erin Lee Warfield Page (Doug), Hayleigh Pearson McCardle Jones (John Phillip); Morgan McCardle Calhoun and Olivia Kahler Calhoun.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Gulfport and grew up in the Handsboro Community. She graduated from Gulfport High School in the Class of 1958, and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at the Jefferson Davis campus. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and went on to work for the Biloxi VA Medical Center. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Carl Legget Rd. Gulfport, MS. Rev. Tom Freeman will officiate the service, with music provided by Mary Perry.
