Nanmi McCardle

Nanmi McCardle, 59, of Reedsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on December 16, 1965, in Seoul, Korea, Nanmi was the beloved daughter of the late Sang Woon Hong and Jung Ae Kim. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Kwampi Hong. Nanmi is survived by her devoted husband, James C. McCardle, Sr., of Reedsville; her cherished children, Felicia Tudor and husband Kyle, and James McCardle, Jr., all of Reedsville; and her two precious grandchildren, Vassia and Ronan Tudor, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her loving sister, Seonmi Bailor, and husband Tim, of Maryland, along with their children, Max and Sam Bailor. Nanmi was employed at Wal-Mart in Lewistown, where her warm presence and kind heart touched the lives of many. She will be remembered most for the deep and abiding love she had for her grandchildren. Nothing brought her greater joy than time spent with them. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - playing bingo, visiting the casino, and sharing laughter with those she loved.
