Linda Darlene Owens, 80, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away on October 17, 2025 in the town of Flower Mound. Linda was born in Granite, Oklahoma to Haskell and Lorena Sewell on July 7, 1945. She married Ronald Owens on May 30, 1964 in Riverside, California. They were married for 61 years. Linda graduated with a bachelor's degree in home economics. She worked as an English as a second language teacher for twenty years for the Arlington Independent School District. Linda was a dedicated and loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Linda is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Dean Owens.

Linda is survived by her spouse, Ronald Royce Owens, her daughter Melinda Deanne Weber, Melinda's husband, Russ Weber, Linda's son Daniel James Owens, his wife Brittany Owens, Linda's brothers Larry Sewell and Ronald Sewell, her sister Cathy Wesloh, and her grandchildren Evelyn Grace Weber, Brielle Elizabeth Owens, Annabelle Hope Weber, and James Brant Owens.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00pm on November 22, 2025 at Temple Baptist Church -2501 Northshore Blvd in Flower Mound, TX with Pastor David Jenkins officiating.

Linda was passionate about supporting overseas missionaries, so memorials can be sent to "Temple Baptist Church - Overseas Missionary Donations."
